One World Training was proud to be actively involved in the VietTESOL International Convention, bringing together English language educators and educational leaders from across Vietnam and the region.

Our President and Vietnam Country Director, Dr. Dieter Bruhn, delivered two interactive sessions focused on AI as a learning partner and Vietnam’s transition from EFL to ESL. Tan “Grace” Le, Owner of One World Training Vietnam, also represented our organization while building connections with educators and leaders throughout the convention.

We are grateful to VietTESOL and the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi for their support and for creating such a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen professional relationships, and contribute to the future of English language education in Vietnam.

Investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs.

One World Training was honored to have its leaders Dieter Bruhn and Tan Le (Grace) serve as judges at the International Business Plan Competition at VinUniversity, held as part of the ASEAN Summer @ NTU Program.

It was inspiring to see talented student teams from across the region present innovative business ideas and practical solutions to real-world challenges. Events like this remind us that the future of entrepreneurship is driven by creativity, collaboration, and the courage to turn ideas into action.

Is the AI Revolution Moving at the Same Pace Everywhere?

Much of today's AI conversation focuses on automation, job displacement, and rapid transformation. While these trends are real, our work across Southeast Asia has highlighted another important reality.

AI adoption is not happening at the same pace everywhere.

In some organizations, the conversation centers on AI agents, automation, and productivity gains. In others, the focus is still on understanding AI's capabilities, building confidence, and identifying practical ways it can enhance teaching, business, government, and everyday work.

There isn't a single AI journey. Every country and every organization has its own starting point, shaped by its people, priorities, infrastructure, and goals.

Great news from One World Training!

We are proud to announce that Dr. Dieter Bruhn, President of One World Training, has had his Pre-Convention Workshop accepted for presentation at the VietTESOL International Convention 2026 (VIC 2026).

His workshop, "Teaching Students to Think in the Age of AI: From Quick Answers to Deep Learning," was selected through VIC 2026's rigorous peer-review process, which involved multiple expert reviewers and final evaluation by the convention's Strand Directors.

As artificial intelligence continues to transform education, this workshop will explore practical strategies for helping students move beyond simply generating answers with AI toward developing critical thinking, reflection, and deeper learning skills.

We are honored to contribute to one of Vietnam's premier international ELT conferences and look forward to engaging with educators from across the region.
