Seventh Annual CU BikeFest came and went with
🍦 1,200 scoops of ice cream
👕 490 shirts given out
🚲 82 bikes sold
🦬 1,500 people in attendance

But the real story is what makes the CU Boulder Used Bike Sale possible.

Each year, the Environmental Center clears hundreds of abandoned bikes from campus. Many bikes are refurbished and given a second life through the sale.

That’s what student-powered sustainability in action looks like!

The CU Environmental Center and Bike Program invites you to the seventh annual CU BIKEFEST this Thursday August 27th at Farrand Field! BIKEFEST is a day of community and culture, introducing thousands of students to the many ways to enjoy bikes and sustainable transportation.

Free food! Free shirts! Free bike repairs! Games and music are followed up by our Annual Used Bike Sale!* First used bike sale begins at 3:30 p.m. Final used bike sale will take place at 5 p.m.

*All sales are credit card only.

Double the locations, double the finds! The CU Boulder Surplus Move In Sale continues through Monday, both at the CU Boulder Surplus Store (3300 Walnut St) and at the Innovation Station in the Will Vill’s Village Center! Stop by between 9am-3pm! CU Boulder Surplus has over 100 pallets (!!!!) of reusable items to sell, so we will keep restocking as long as y’all keep buying!

Thrifting isn’t an official therapy but it is a heck of a lot better for the planet than buying new!
Shop affordable, sustainable furniture, household items, dorm essentials, and more during the annual Move-In Sale. The sale runs August 15-17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It’s a great way to save money while supporting reuse and waste reduction.
