Congratulations to JILA scientist researcher Dr. Chen-Ting Liao of JILA Fellows Margaret Murnane's and Henry Kapteyn's groups for being awarded a grant as part of the 2023 Young Investigator Research Program, or YIP. YIP was launched by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, or AFOSR, the basic research arm of the Air Force Research Laboratory. Applications for the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting are due Monday March 7, 2022. The Excellence in Exporting award provides official recognition from the State of Colorado and can help local companies increase their competitiveness in international markets. Previous recipients include Aerosol Devices, KMLabs Inc., Mile High Labs, and Ska Brewing.
Companies may nominate themselves or other Colorado companies they find deserving. The business must be Colorado-based and have exported products or services for two or more years. A complete list of eligibility criteria may be found on the website.
