Free Art Supplies!
As we transition the Clementine Studio Art School to a Mobile Classroom, we have some supplies looking for a good home. Today from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, please stop by 1237 Pine St (in the basement of the Pine Street Church, corner of 13th & Pine), and hopefully find a few treasures.

We had a great last week of camp at Clementine Studio! Look for our mobile program coming in Spring 2016 or sooner- details will be on our website as we transition and iron out details.

In the past few months Android’s art has been projected upon the Empire State Building in New York City, at the Grateful Dead’s, Fare Thee Well concerts in Santa Clara, CA and Chicago, IL. As well as in a fully immersive dome exhibition in Kiev, Ukraine.

While Android Jones is an internationally renowned visionary artist, he grew up here in Boulder County. OpenArts is delighted to be showing his work at the Open Studios Gallery @ Rembrandt Yard.

In addition to the exhibition at the gallery, Android will be participating in Open Studios during the first two weekends of October. Be sure to visit his studio and engage with him and his magical creations.

Artist Statement
I have seen things in this life that I am incapable of translating into words. In my practice I have visited realms where the imagination ends, and the terrifying beauty of infinity unfolds over and over again.
If I could distill into words exactly what motivates me to create the art that I make than it would not be worth making it. Instead I have chosen the Pen.
Honestly I don’t know why I make this art, or what compels me to keep creating it; it’s a mystery I intend to pursue for the rest of my life, and each image brings me closer to the Ultimate Truth.

Android’s work will be on exhibit at the Open Studios Gallery @ Rembrandt Yard from August through October during regular gallery hours, Mon – Sat 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
