Renaissance-style sword fighting and martial arts, based in Boulder. The School of Classical Swordplay is unique in the field of European martial arts.
It offers progressive training with; the Rapier, Small Sword, Spadina, Dueling Saber, Long Sword, and Quarterstaff, as well as ongoing research in the use of other weapons. This allows its students to experience the use of weapons that are as close to real as possible, while still maintaining the highest degree of safety. Friday night sparing, good buckler positioning
Class is canceled on Friday December 27th do to the holidays. We’ll start it back up in the new year, January 3rd.
Class will be cancelled on Friday the 29th of November due to the holidays. We will pick it back up on December the 6th.
Class is cancelled tonight, 11/15/2024, due to people being sick and needing to recover.
Fencing is canceled tonight, July 27th, due to the temperature. Days like these the fencing cell is well over 95 degrees when we start at 6:30pm and it is unsafe to fence in those conditions. We’ll pick it back up next week. Stay safe and cool out there.
