Students from the Center for Musical Arts, Greater Boulder Youth Orchestras, Boulder Suzuki Strings and area public school programs had the incredible opportunity to attend a Colorado Music Festival rehearsal and witness 15-year-old violinist Himari preparing for tonight’s concert.
After rehearsal, students had the chance to ask Himari questions and exchange practice tips. What an inspiring experience for our young musicians!

It was such a wonderful experience for our students to hear Himari rehearse with the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra and have the chance to meet her afterward! We are grateful to everyone involved who made this opportunity available to our students.

She will perform the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Colorado Music Festival tonight and tomorrow night. It's a performance you won't want to miss!

Congratulations to all our students on their beautiful performances at our spring solo recitals on Friday and Saturday! It’s always a joy to see the musical growth of each student from one recital to the next.

Thank you to the students for the work they put in to prepare for these performances. Thank you to all the teachers who nurture the talent of these students and to all the parents who support their children during lessons and practice at home. You are all a crucial part of the Suzuki Triangle! We appreciate your support of our program!

Warmest congratulations to our students and faculty for their outstanding performances at yesterday’s annual spring concert!

This special event remains one of the highlights of the year, uniting all our student groups from our youngest pre-Twinklers to our most advanced ensembles for a truly memorable concert. Our audience enjoyed a variety of musical selections with beautiful performances from our book level groups, Orchestra, Fiddle, Advanced Violin, Advanced Viola, and Advanced Cello ensembles.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication and growth throughout the year, and deeply grateful to our supportive parents for playing such an important role in our community. A heartfelt thank-you also goes to our committed faculty, staff and board members for everything they do to make events like this possible!

Congratulations to our 2026 BSS Seniors!

Friday’s Senior Celebration was a memorable and meaningful evening, filled with expressive solo performances, touching moments, and plenty of laughter. Highlights included the beloved tradition of the Bach Double Violin Concerto, beautifully led by our seniors.

The evening honored not only their musical accomplishments, but also their dedication and growth over the years. It was especially touching to hear their teachers share personal reflections and memories from their time together.

We wish each of our seniors all the best as they step into the next chapter of their journeys!

Many thanks to the junior class for hosting such a wonderful reception, bringing seniors, families, and friends together to celebrate in such a joyful and memorable way.
