We have openings for the 25-26 scvchool year. We will open on September 9th and our achedule is Monday through Thursday 9-2 for children 3-6 years old. For more information see our website.

We have some openings left for our summer camp which runs from June 9th until July 24th Monday through Thursday 8:30am - 1:00pm. We spend our days outdoors enjoying nature but have a cute school house where we meet and take shelter if needed. You can book by the day, the week or the whole camp. A wonderful trip to a farm is just one of the activities children get to enjoy thanks to our big green bus. If your idea of preschool education is hands on learning and daily field trips, we have some spots open for next school year for children 3-5 years old. We accept CCAP and UPK if you qualify for those programs.

In this interview with researcher Peter Gray, Gray explains the correlation between a decline in independent playtime and negative mental health outcomes in children. Research shows that independent play helps children build confidence and abilities, while also fostering social connections.

However, over the last 70 years, children's opportunities for free play have steadily decreased due to factors such as increased television viewing and indoor time, a greater focus on adult-led after-school activities and a growing concern about unsupervised outdoor play.

We currently have 3 openings for our schedule 8:30 - 3:00 M-Th for children aged 3-5. We know many families have settled into their preschool by now, but if your child isn't loving their school, maybe you could come and check out Children's House Preschool. Our active and inclusive preschool is limited to 13 children and we take daily field trips to parks, creeks, hiking trails, libraries, and more. We offer a genuine play based learning experience where children get to follow their interests and passions.

Colorado Gives Day is coming December 5th and we just received a matching grant to help us raise funds. The past 3 years have been a little tough financially as we have adjusted to lower enrollment, but in every other way we have been shining.
