Our scholarship program has helped hundreds of Colorado women of non-traditional student age with a much deserved hand up.
If you are a woman at least 25 years of age, have been a Colorado resident for at least twelve months, are enrolled in an institution of higher education or vocational training, will reside in Colorado while earning your certification or degree, and can demonstrate financial need, scholastic achievement, leadership skills, community involvement, and career goals, we want to help you write your own success story.

Meet CWEF Scholar, Sabrina, who is feeling "proud and bittersweet" this Summer after graduating with her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from CSU. We are also over the moon to report that Sabrina is graduating with NO student loan debt. Congratulations, Sabrina!!

CWEF is amazed by our recent scholar, Caterina, who graduated this May with her Doctorate in Educational Psychology with a Concentration in Applied Statistics and Research Methods. WOW. Caterina is starting part-time at Aurora Community College as an Open Education Resource Coordinator. Amazing job Caterina, we could not be more in awe of you!

The Her Colorado Student Video Contest is still open — and there are two weeks left to enter.
Colorado students from 6th grade through undergrad are invited to create a short video honoring a Colorado Women's Hall of Fame inductee from one of Colorado's 8 regions.
It's a chance to learn about the women who shaped this state, tell their story, and compete for a $1,000 grand prize. The winning video will be shown at the CWHF Gala.

We are beyond proud of recent CWEF graduate Heather who will be starting a job as a school counselor at an elementary school this August! She describes feeling: "empowered, proud, excited, and nervous" after graduating. Scholars like Heather are exactly why we provide the funding we do to non-traditional women over the age of 25 pursuing their education. Congratulations Heather!!
