Colorado Women's Education Foundation - CWEF Our scholarship program has helped hundreds of Colorado women of non-traditional student age with a much deserved hand up.

If you are a woman at least 25 years of age, have been a Colorado resident for at least twelve months, are enrolled in an institution of higher education or vocational training, will reside in Colorado while earning your certification or degree, and can demonstrate financial need, scholastic achievement, leadership skills, community involvement, and career goals, we want to help you write your own success story.

In exactly one week, we honor the rich history and vibrant contributions of Hispanic Heritage Month. At the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation, we believe that empowering women over 25 with the resources to pursue their education doesn't just change individual lives; it uplifts entire families and legacies.

In this video, just a few of our incredible scholars share their powerful stories of determination, overcoming obstacles, and reclaiming their futures. Their voices remind us that it is never too late to learn, lead, and inspire the next generation. Create a short video celebrating a Colorado Women's Hall of Fame inductee for a chance to win $1,000! Submissions are open until August 1st. Details below!

The Her Colorado Student Video Contest is still open — and there are two weeks left to enter.
Colorado students from 6th grade through undergrad are invited to create a short video honoring a Colorado Women's Hall of Fame inductee from one of Colorado's 8 regions.

It's a chance to learn about the women who shaped this state, tell their story, and compete for a $1,000 grand prize. The winning video will be shown at the CWHF Gala.
