With a new school year brings the opportunity for students to join the 2022-2023 International Festival Leadership team! Positions and teams we would be filling include: Secretary, Treasurer, Programming Coordinators, Food Coordinator, Publicity Coordinator, Graphics and Design Coordinator, and Webmaster. The leadership team election will take place this fall, and elected leaders will serve for the duration of the academic year and through the following summer. Officer election is to take place on a volunteer basis, and a minor election will be held in the case of a surplus of volunteers! If you have interest in joining the I-Fest team, keep your eye out for more information, and feel free to come chat with us at the Resource Fair on Monday, August 15th, and the Be Involved Fair on Wednesday, August 24th. We will have interest meetings in early September!

Join International Buffs & Company at Scott Carpenter Park for a morning of playground fun on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Registration is required by June 15, 2022 to obtain a head count for snacks. Registration can be done through our website or the university calendar event.
This is a terrific opportunity to meet other local parents and for children to be active and make new friends!

Join international Buffs & Company for a live, online game of Disney Trivia this thursday, May 12, at 6 p.m. mst. This is a family friendly event so bring the whole family, though if you want to compete against each other than please register separately. Registration can be done through the ISSS website or the University Calendar event.

Are you looking to make a positive difference in someone’s life, create new friendships, and build leadership and intercultural skills? Then the International Peer Mentor Program is looking for you!
The International Peer Mentor Program connects current CU Boulder students with new international students to ease their transition to CU Boulder, promote meaningful interactions between current students and new international students, develop intercultural communication skills, and strengthen community among students.
The program will provide opportunities for leadership development and training in intercultural communication. Mentor applications are open until September 28th, with the mentee application to open soon!

What is the Be Involved Fair?
The Be Involved Fair is a signature welcome event designed to connect new and returning students with involvement opportunities on campus and in the community. Students who attend can connect with student organizations, campus departments, and local nonprofit organizations. This event celebrates involvement and kicks off the new year with a fresh start of exploring interests and making connections!
When is the Be Involved Fair?

How do I attend or participate?
The Be Involved Fair is an in person, outdoor tabling event.
All students are welcome to attend the event any time between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. No prior registration required.

Join us for the Postcard Project. Today, June 23, from 12-1:30 in the C4C patio near the Weathertech Cafe, we will write and send postcards together! ISSS will provide the materials and will mail them for you to your provided addresses.
