Dharma Gates is hosting a six-day silent retreat at Claymont Society from Monday April 3rd - Sunday April 9th led by Theravada teacher Beth Upton. The focus will be developing a healthy, sustainable, and loving relationship with your chosen object of meditation. Beth Upton is a teacher from the lineage of Pa Auk Sayadaw in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. This retreat will consist of periods of sitting and walking meditation, along with group Q&A and 1:1 time with the teacher. It is offered on a donation basis in the spirit of dana. Hello! My name is Nicky. I am offering tutoring services for any students aged elementary through college. I have experience tutoring 100+ students ages 8 to 23, in subjects ranging from English to college-level Physics. I have a Master's degree in physics, an undergraduate degree in Physics and Economics and multiple publications as a research scientist; I've been a professional software engineer, a professional data scientist, and most recently I have founded a nonprofit to connect young people with meditation opportunities. I would love to help how I can!

My specialty is high-school and college-level math, programming and science(especially physics). I am happy to tutor students from elementary school through graduate school. Thanks for reading and I look forward to connecting!
