A Terrifying Yes: How to Play in the Dark
You know you are meant to do something brave and beautiful and needed, AND IT IS BIG. It is scary because more of you is stepping into yourself then you have ever known before.

“Joy is not the opposite of grief. Grief is the opposite of indifference. Grief is an evolutionary indicator of love—the kind of love that guides revolutionaries.” Malkia Devich-Cyril

Francis Weller says “To honor our grief, to grant space and time in our frantic world, is to fulfill a covenant with soul—to welcome all that is, thereby granting room for our most authentic life.”

So How Do We Grieve?
First, I want to make sure it is clear that every time we have change in our lives there is the potential for grief. So we all are living with grief under the surface of our lives all the time. We have times in our lives that break us open so it is more difficult to run from it, but it is always there with us. So don’t doubt that this retreat is for you.
Come join Sydney Badik and I for An Intimate Day with Grief on April 20th from 10am-4:30pm. Learn ways to tend to your grief that you can take home with you. Transmute grief through ritual, creative expression, and being witnessed in community. The day will include a tea ceremony, therapeutic art making (no experience needed), storytelling, a fire ritual and time for connection. Come into a cozy home that can hold you and your grief with tenderness and open arms. We are not meant to grieve in isolation. There is healing that comes from grieving in community. And if someone comes to mind that you know needs this, please send it to them💗
Since we are wanting an intimate experience, we are capping the group at 8 people, so I recommend registering soon.

I so deeply believe in the power of art to support our soul's journey. To act as way to be present, synthesis, and anchor into our experience. So grateful when I have time to connect with myself through the creative process. What an act of courage, curiosity and play all in one.
If you want to come join my next art integration group on Oct 18. Check the link in my bio or reach out to me with questions.

I host a monthly art integration group on the third Wednesday of the month and next one is Oct 18th at the Boulder Healing Hub.
If you have had an experience recently that is asking to be integrated, art is a powerful tool to help be present, synthesis and anchor into the learning. Be it through a psychedelic journey, breath work experience, deep meditation, powerful dream or life altering experience, come join this group to find sacred space to honor that experience and integrate it into your life.
I am a trained art therapist and have helped many people integrate big moments in their life through art. If your inner-critic is holding you back know that NO ART EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED!!! All materials are supplied. Just bring your curious mind and playful spirit. Resistance and fear is also welcome.
The group is $25 and I want to keep the group to 6 people, so please register soon. For you or clients that you think this could be helpful for. Reach out with any questions. Thanks!

The poem that inspired the name of my business. And the vision I aspire to and what I support others in finding.
Here is the whole poem
How Surely Gravity’s Law,
strong as an ocean current,
takes hold of the smallest thing
and pulls it toward the heart of the world.
Each thing—
each stone, blossom, child —
is held in place.
Only we, in our arrogance,
push out beyond what we each belong to
for some empty freedom.
If we surrenderedto earth’s intelligence
we could rise up rooted, like trees.
Instead we entangle ourselves
in knots of our own making
and struggle, lonely and confused.
So like children, we begin again
to learn from the things,
because they are in God’s heart;
they have never left him.
This is what the things can teach us:
to fall,
patiently to trust our heaviness.
Even a bird has to do thatbefore he can fly.
