Meet some of our Alpha Phi student athletes!

From the court to the field to the dance floor, these girls do it all. Their dedication, perseverance, and team spirit make our chapter stronger every day. Today, we’re featuring incoming sophomore Audrey Asleson, junior Riley MacDonald, and senior Arina Mouradian! 🖤💛



“Being a student-athlete can be hard, and balancing volleyball, school, and everything else is definitely not always easy. Alpha Phi has given me such a supportive group of girls outside of volleyball who make Boulder feel even more like home. My big is on the dance team, so getting to look over during games and see her cheering and dancing on the sidelines makes it even more special. From the beginning, the girls in Alpha Phi made me feel so welcomed, and I’m so grateful to have found a community that supports me both on and off the court.”

Meet AVA, our VP of New Member Education!! 🌟 Ava is from Broomfield, Colorado, majoring in Business with a Marketing & Finance emphasis!

“Before coming to college, I already knew I wanted to go through recruitment. My older sister, Maddie, was a huge part of that decision. She never failed to show me how Alpha Phi encouraged her to be completely herself, grow as a leader, and meet the people who would become her forever sisters. Watching the impact this chapter had on her made me realize how much a sisterhood can truly transform your college experience.

As I watched my sister take on leadership within Alpha Phi, her involvement inspired me to do so as well. Now, as VP of New Member Education, it feels so special to give back to the chapter that has given me so much. I love being able to welcome our new members, support them as they begin their own Alpha Phi journey, and help them feel at home in a chapter that has become such a meaningful part of my life. I know firsthand how special it is to find a place where you can be yourself, and I feel so lucky to help create that experience for our newest members.♥️”

New addresses, same sisters. 🧸

The year-long sleepover at the 1015 eventually comes to an end… but the memories definitely don’t! From passed-down porches to new traditions, our Hill houses become part of the Alpha Phi experience.

From coast to coast, home looks a little different for each of us, but Alpha Phi brought us together in Boulder. No matter where we’re from, we’ve found a home in each other.

Our Chapter President, Kate Shupe, proudly represented the Colorado Beta Gamma chapter at Alpha Phi’s 75th Convention! 🌿♥️💫

Here are a few words from Kate about this unforgettable experience:

“It was such an honor to represent the Beta Gamma chapter at the Alpha Phi 75th Convention and to spend the weekend learning alongside so many inspiring women. I left the weekend with so many new ideas, a fresh perspective, and an even greater appreciation for this sisterhood. Our chapter was awarded The Most Outstanding Advisory Team Award. This award is a reflection of the incredible women who continuously invest their time, leadership, and unwavering support into our chapter, and I couldn’t be more proud to celebrate them. One of the highlights of the weekend was the Red Dress Gala Impact Dinner, where together we raised $150,000 in a single night to support the Alpha Phi Foundation. Hearing the stories of those impacted by the Foundation and seeing our sisterhood come together with such generosity was incredibly inspiring. I can’t wait to bring everything I learned back to Beta Gamma and continue building on everything that makes our chapter so special. So grateful for this opportunity and excited for what’s ahead🤍🤍”
