🎉 We’re looking for hosts for this year’s Student Send-Offs. These events help welcome incoming first-year and transfer students, along with their families, into the CU Boulder and Forever Buffs community before they arrive on campus.

Host locations needed:
📍 Boston, MA
📍 Honolulu, HI
📍 South Florida

💛 As a Student Send-Off host, you’ll provide a space for 20–50 students and families, while the Alumni Association (Forever Buffs: University of Colorado Boulder Alumni) provides a host kit (swag included!) and support leading up to the event.

🗓️ Student Send-Offs can be hosted any time between Monday, July 6, and Sunday, August 2.

🏥 Reminder for 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙜 students (2026–27 academic year)

All students are required to have health insurance coverage and will be automatically enrolled in the Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) unless a waiver is submitted.

If you already have coverage through a parent, employer, individual plan or government program, you can submit a waiver to show proof of your existing insurance.

⚠️ Important: Students who do not submit a waiver by 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩. 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 will be automatically enrolled in Anthem Gold SHIP and billed $2,648 per semester.

As you plan for the 2026–27 school year, take a moment to:
✔ Enroll in Anthem Gold SHIP if you need coverage
✔ Or submit your waiver if you already have qualifying insurance
