This book by is special in so many ways. The graphics are gorgeous and the color palette is warm and inviting. The story beautifully describes the importance of family traditions through the special relationship Priya has with her Babi Ba (granny), all the while painting a stunning picture of India.
Mia loves this story and her favorite thing is to point to Babi Ba and tell me that she looks like her Nani (maternal grandma) because they share similar hair color! 😉

These are NOT mutually exclusive. Drop that mental load and put yourself first today. Get that manicure or go on that girls trip, and let the mom guilt go. Take time and space- however that shows up for you 💕
Because being a mama requires a lot, but should not require you to sacrifice yourself.
A “whole” you is a lot more wholesome for the little(s) in your world.

This 📖 teaches Mia new vocabulary which is 👍🏼, but the greatest thing she gets out of this book is an introduction to mindfulness.

Mindfulness teaches kids to focus on the present moment, which helps them learn how to self-soothe. Studies have shown that this practice can improve behavior, build self-awareness and self-esteem and increase focus.
