We, the Student Government of the University of Colorado Boulder, stand unified with the student body, community, state, and nation as we navigate the increasing reality of gun violence on education campuses.
We denounce all gun violence in any setting. These weapons have stoked fear, taken lives, and torn communities apart. They have no place within our school.
We recognize that the past couple of weeks have invoked emotions within the student body, and we share your concerns. We will continue to work diligently to uphold our shared interest in living in communities and attending schools that are safe from gun violence.
We remain committed to serving as a resource and stand in solidarity with you while we collectively navigate the events of the past weeks.
Sincerely,
Gianna Guido
