Talk about a bittersweet moment! ❤️🐴 at the Elko rodeo

When two of your own Boulder City teammates tie for 2nd, there’s only one thing left to do… SHOOT-OFF! 😳🔥

Valerie and Hunter had to go head-to-head, and while I know it’s not easy watching teammates compete against each other, they BOTH showed up and gave it everything they had!

In the end, Valerie took 2nd and Hunter took 3rd, but what a HUGE win for Boulder City! 🏆❤️

I couldn’t be more proud of these two! They worked hard, competed hard, and represented Boulder City with so much heart. At the end of the day, they’re teammates first, and seeing them both succeed is something special.

A little look back at our White Pine Rodeo weekend up in Ely!

The weekend kicked off Friday with shooting and just kept rolling from there. We had some great runs, some new personal records, some lessons learned, lots of laughs, and a whole lot to be proud of.

A special congratulations to Evalynn Robles for winning the average in Breakaway!

More than anything, we are just so proud of ALL of these kids. Rodeo takes a lot. A lot of practice, a lot of early mornings, long drives, good runs, tough runs, taking care of horses, helping each other, and getting back out there to do it all again. Watching these kids keep growing, cheering each other on, and representing Boulder City makes us pretty darn proud.

And we can't say thank you enough to our coaches who make those long drives and give so much of their time to be there for these kids. We are so lucky to have you.

Another great rodeo weekend in the books. We sure do love this team of ours.

Our rodeo kids were out and about doing what they love, volunteering. Yesterday, at the Boulder City Sunrise Rotary Wurstfest they had an amazing day giving back to our community..

We want to give a huge thank you to the Mounted Horse Foundation for being such an incredible supporter of the Boulder City High School Rodeo Team.

They have sponsored so many of our rodeo kids and have been one of the biggest supporters of our team year after year. We truly cannot thank them enough for everything they do for these kids and for our rodeo community.

We are incredibly lucky to have people like this behind our team, and we are so grateful for the Mounted Horse Foundation and all of their support. Thank you for always showing up for our kids. ❤️

RODEO SEASON IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!

Last week our team headed north to Eureka for their very first rodeo of the season, and what a great weekend to kick things off!

Hunter and Valerie got us started on Friday, representing our team in Shooting and making their mark right out of the gate.

Then it was time to rodeo! Aiden, Desi, Evalynn, Bella and Emma hit the arena for a full weekend of competition, cheering each other on and getting that first rodeo of the season under their belts.

A big congratulations to Evalynn on bringing home 1st place in both Jr High Barrels and Breakaway!

Great runs, great competition, lots of team spirit and some seriously fabulous cool Eureka weather made for one heck of a way to start the season.

We’re proud of every one of these kids and can’t wait to see where this season takes them. Eureka, you were good to us!

💰 All fees/money will be collected

WE DID ITTTTTT!!!

The Boulder City Jr/High School Rodeo Team was voted Best Recreation Activity, Group & Club in Best of Boulder City 2026!

We are beyond proud of this team and all of our incredible kids who work so hard, love their horses, support each other, and represent our little town so well.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, supports our team, cheers for these kids, and helps make all of this possible.

This one feels exceptionally special.
