Faith at RCA isn’t meant to live in just one class, one chapel, or one moment of the week. 💚

We want our students to experience rhythms of worship, prayer, Scripture, and community that help point them back to Jesus again and again.

This week in chapel, our students gathered, participated, listened, and learned together — and we love getting to watch those little rhythms grow. Our prayer is that what they are learning here becomes something they carry with them far beyond the classroom.

We began this school year in prayer. 💚

This week, our RCA community gathered for Convocation Prayer — taking time to pray over our students, staff, families, and the year ahead.

From those prayer-filled moments to the rocks created by both students and staff, we’re reminded that prayer is not just something we do at the beginning of the year — it’s part of who we are.

We’re grateful for the many ways our community continues to cover our school in prayer, including our upcoming Praying Moms group and opportunities like our moms’ Bible study.

May this year be one deeply rooted in Christ as we continue Loving God, Loving Others, and Empowering Learners.

“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water.”

And apparently, some of them were already preparing for their future careers. 😂
We asked our elementary teachers to dig through the family photo albums and send us pictures of themselves when they were little — and these were WAY too good not to share.
The sweetest part? Many of them are right around the same age in these photos as the students they teach today. ❤️
From little learners ➡️ to the teachers who now get to encourage, challenge, pray for, laugh with, and love a whole new generation of little learners.
Some things just feel meant to be. 🥹

Join us for our Back-to-School Expo + Meet the Teacher from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Come meet your child’s teacher, reconnect with friends, get familiar with the school year ahead, and take care of those last little back-to-school details before the first day.

Our Elementary Field Day is one week away! RCA Dads, Grandpas, and other Father/Family Figures are encouraged to join us.

It’s important to us that our students‘ loved ones get a glimpse of their RCA school journey: meeting their teachers, walking our school grounds, and getting a feel for what we teach and encourage in our classrooms. Equally so, it is so important we get to know you, our students’ families!

It’s Kindness Week on Campus! 🫶🏼

Every day our students will be encouraged and taught what it means to spread kindness to others both inside and outside our community.

Our Vision Statement, to Love God, people, and empower learners, reflects Matthew 22:37-39: “…..You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

This is what we hope to cultivate this week: Loving God by being kind to others around us.
