Last weekend, we survived the smoke from the Little Giant Fire near the cabin. Not exactly the weekend we had planned!
But our saving grace? A super fun virtual Album Retreat that brought out the creative juices, challenged us to try new techniques, and, for me, introduced me to my new favorite tool.
And now, back to the point...
Did you notice that both the Album Retreat and Card Retreat are in the Last Chance section — AND they’ve been reduced in price?
I've participated in these virtual retreats, and they are such a fun creative experience. You get projects to work on, new techniques to try, inspiration, and the bonus of creating alongside other people without having to leave home.
If you could design your own virtual creative retreat, what would you want included?
More time to create? New techniques? A specific type of project? Or maybe just uninterrupted creative time?

A little Tip & Trick for your next project!
Have the perfect ribbon in mind, but not the perfect color?
Try starting with white ribbon or thread and coloring it to coordinate with your project. It’s a simple trick that can give you exactly the color you need.
I shared a quick video showing how I do it. Give it a try the next time your project is asking for that “just right” finishing touch.

I love when one package of paper can take you in several different creative directions.
This month’s Product of the Month has patterns that can do just that. Use the smaller, tighter designs as a background, or cut pieces from the more open patterns to create a focal point. And that pearlized finish? It adds just a little something extra without needing much embellishment.
I think this would be especially pretty on scrapbook pages where you want the paper to add interest without competing with the photos.
What would you make with it: cards, scrapbook pages, or something completely different?

One of my favorite parts of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is getting to share creativity with people who choose to create with me. I never take that support for granted, and I love finding little ways to say thank you.
This month, I have a special little gift to share with customers who reach $75 in their Stampin’ Up! order. It’s simply my way of adding a little extra joy to something you were already choosing for yourself.
Thank you for supporting my small business, for letting me be part of your creative time, and for choosing to shop with me. It truly means more than you know.

Did you think I stopped playing with hot foil? Well, I did take a little break, but then some new hot foil dies and new colors showed up in my craft room, and you know I couldn’t resist.
Get ready to see some shine around here again because hot foil is definitely making a comeback! **Stay tuned—I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been playing with.**

I’ve been doing a little shopping ahead of September 1, and now I get to give you a peek at what’s coming!
The new Stampin’ Up! products include beautiful fall, Christmas and winter papers and stamps, and I picked up a few things that I’m especially excited to play with.
I’m sharing a preview of my purchases in this video. Consider it a little inspiration for the projects that are waiting for you this fall and winter.
I’d love to know which new product catches your eye first!

Some papers are pretty. Some papers make you stop and think, “Oh, I could do something with that.”
This month’s Product of the Month is definitely the second kind.
It’s a beautiful Designer Series Paper with a pearlized finish that gives every pattern a subtle shimmer. And because it’s photo safe, it’s especially fun for scrapbookers. The tighter patterns work beautifully as backgrounds, while the more open designs can be cut apart and used as little details or focal pieces.
I’m already imagining this on a scrapbook page with just the right amount of shimmer.
Is this a paper that would make its way into your craft room?
