A table full of paper, scissors, glue and good humans. What more do you need? ✂️💛
Last night’s drop-in collage night at Halcyon Brewing Company was exactly the kind of creative, human-scale moment I’ve been craving. No instructions. No pressure to make something “good.” Just cutting, gluing, creating and hanging out. Thanks to folks who joined in and Theresa Ahdieh for organizing the event.
I loved every minute of it and already thinking about the next one!

“Suddenly that insignificant planet has become home, a place that she wants to return to.”
8”x10” Analog collage on cardstock, made in May 2025 during ‘s workshop in Collage o Rama. This one had been safely filed away in one of the boxes, that I had packed from my move from downtown studio to the garage studio! I think the prompt for this one was to make an all monochrome collage to go with last year’s Collage o Rama theme of monochrome 🩷❤️

‼️New painting alert‼️
“Oh Happy Day” is 9”x12” mixed media on canvas. A little joy, a lot of color, and a whole lot of music. 🎶
This original was started at a paint party in June and finished this weekend at Fresh Paint Festival. I love how it came together, bright, joyful, and just a little bit unexpected.
Ready to bring some happy to your walls?
DM me to purchase💐💕

Throwback to 2024 May Collage O Rama. These were my sample collages for the Abstract Pattern collage workshop I taught that year. I never ended up sharing these because I moved into my current home the very next day and had to pack up everything as soon as I got home😅 I found these again while searching for another painting that’s still missing. I’ve officially reached that age where “putting in its proper place” means not finding it at ALL🤯😩 Ohh SIGH😓 Anyways the first one feels like an interpretation of the party emoji🎉

Last 2 collages made at the Making Meaning Symposium. These were made on flyers that had artist statements for a show at Vassar College. My thoughts were to merge the collages with the artist’s work that was printed on the flyer, making it look a collab between us✂️🙂

In old Hindi films, desire was hidden behind flowers.
In real life, women are taught to do the same. Trim the desire. Soften the voice. Stay pleasing.
