Hi Frank Love Families,
As many of you know, every classroom is equipped with an Emergency Preparedness (E-Prep) backpack to help keep our kids safe in the event of an emergency. One of our dedicated PTA dads is taking on the project of filling and updating about 40 E-Prep backpacks — one for every classroom!
Most of the backpacks already have the bulk of their essentials, but we need to add a handful of missing items to bring each one up to code. This matters: during last year’s emergency preparedness drill, several kits were found to have non-functioning flashlights, and we want to make sure every classroom is fully equipped and ready this time around.

Come lend a hand — many hands make light work, and it’s a great way to meet other PTA families while doing something meaningful for our kids’ safety.

Did your child love participating in an after-school club last year? If so, we’d love your help! 🎨♟️⚽

We’re looking for a Student Enrichment Coordinator to help bring those opportunities back this year. The hard part is already done - we have our vendor contacts! This role mainly involves reviewing and signing vendor contracts and managing family registration through the SixCrickets platform.

It’s a great way to make a meaningful impact on our students without a huge time commitment. Interested or have questions? Send us a message!

We’re here for you. Our food pantry will be open tomorrow, 10am–12pm. Come by, grab what you need, and say hello.

If you wish to access the pantry please come to the double doors as if you are visiting the main office. If no one is present to greet you, it is because we are serving another family and will be with you shortly.

Join us on Sunday, August 23 for Community Serve Day! This one day, thousands of volunteers will gather at 27 local schools to help them prepare for the first day of school. CSD volunteers will help teachers organize their classrooms, spruce up the school landscaping and prep the playgrounds for students. This is a community event, so invite your friends, family and neighbors to join you on Sunday, August 23 from 9am-1pm to volunteer at Community Serve Day 2026. Kindergarten families, our first Kindergarten Playdate is this Saturday!

It’s a great opportunity for incoming kindergarteners to meet new friends, explore the playground, and start feeling comfortable before the first day of school. Parents and caregivers can connect with other families and begin building your school community, too!

Know a family with a child starting kindergarten this year? Please share this post with them!

The Frank Love Food Pantry will be open tomorrow, July 15th from 10am-12pm. If you are in need of food assistance, stop by and shop the pantry. Meet at the front office and someone will take you to the pantry. We will also be open Wednesday, August 12th from 10am-12pm.

We survived making lunches, the endless papers coming home in backpacks, the forgotten library books, the busy schedules, and all the wonderful chaos that comes with an elementary school year.

Thank you to our amazing students, families, teachers, and staff for making this year such a special one. We hope your summer is filled with fun, adventure, rest, and plenty of popsicles.

FLE Field Day is next Tuesday, June 16th. Volunteers are still needed! You must have a current volunteer 1 or 2 background check. Sign up in ParentSquare. This is always a huge highlight of the school year for our kids, packed with laughter, teamwork, and school spirit. To make this incredible day a success, we rely on the helping hands of our wonderful Frank Love community.
