UW Bothell Debate Society

06/08/2021

I am proud to announce that I have been working with a group of dedicated Forensics educators and supporters to create the Greater Seattle Debate League. The mission of the GDSL is to bring debate and the positive effects of debate for critical thinking and engagement to students who might not have the opportunity.
We are also working to engage in Debate Across the Curriculum, helping to provide debate curriculum for all types of courses in high school and college. I have attached the announcement from UW Bothell. I have also included a link to the GDSL website. Please join us in our support of students. Consider volunteering, donating or joining in!
My thanks to the amazing people I have had the opportunity to work with this year.
Tyler Durbin and Ryan Casey, Thomas Hyatt Jim Hanson, all founding members of the GDSL. Thank you, also, to
Christopher Medina for Debate Across the Curriculum.
