🕖 7PM
Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/aor-hsmi-kfg

Join us for a quick virtual chat! Let's brainstorm together and share ideas. NSEC is exploring an informal learning and discussion series designed to meet families and school staff right where they are. Which formats sound easiest to fit into your week? What topics or questions do you wish you had a space to unpack?

Open to parents, educators, staff, and community members who want to join the conversation.

Can't make it live? No problem! Email your thoughts, topic wish lists, or preferred meeting styles to [email protected].

At our PTSA general meeting last week we had school board president Sandy Hayes give a legislative update that included possible impacts of fewer kids and declining enrollment... Big changes expected to impact our NMS feeder schools, stay in the loop by attending the next meeting!

The next Conversations with the Board will take place on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m. at Cottage Lake Elementary.

You are invited to join our School Board Directors to learn more about the district’s enrollment work and future boundary changes. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on draft principles that will guide their decisions as they consider recommendations from the Enrollment Demographics Advisory Committee (EDAC).

Have 5 minutes? National PTA wants to hear from families.

National PTA is developing its public policy priorities for the 2027–2029 Congress and is asking families across the country to share which issues matter most to them, their schools and their communities.

The survey covers a range of issues affecting children and families and is a direct opportunity to let National PTA know what you think should be priorities for its advocacy work.

You do not need to be a PTA member to participate, and the survey really does take about 5 minutes.

The survey is open through October 1 at 5 PM ET:
