It's that time of year again when many of us are trying to find the ideal gift that won't be forgotten by the 1st of January. Think about giving your child, or yourself, the gift of music. Learning to play the piano or helping someone learn how to use their voice is a gift that continues to gift for years to come. Of special note, the school programs in Northshore's middle school and high schools are rockin' it and producing some extraordinary works.
Those of you with budding actors at the middle school or high school level or in local kids-teen community productions need to get them into voice lessons to double their chances of being cast. Get your spots reserved for Fall! They're going fast. Music is like a foreign language and enriches our souls and helps us understand one another when other ways don't work. My philosophy is a relaxed environment where learning to play or sing is for pure enjoyment and to have an expressive outlet. If students want to take it farther than that I'm ready to hit the ground running but for those who just want to be able learn purely for their own pleasure that's what you'll get with me.
