Most organizations have a health project that keeps moving to the next quarter.

We have students who need one.

The Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies program at the University of Washington Bothell is looking for organizations to host a student fieldwork project.

In exchange, you give a student the fieldwork experience required for their degree.

Hosting means three things: a real setting, a real problem, and someone on your team the student can check in with.

40 hours of student project work across eight weeks. Fall, winter or spring quarter. In person, hybrid or fully remote. Scoped around your priorities, not a set curriculum.

Not sure whether your idea fits? Send it anyway. Our Fieldwork Program Manager will work with you to shape it into something a student can finish in 40 hours.

Harborview Medical Center is offering a scholarship for its nurses working toward a BSN.

Worth knowing early: you need to be accepted into a program before you can apply for the scholarship. Admission comes first.

The UW Bothell RN to BSN is built for nurses who are still working. Most classes meet in person every other week, at Bothell, Everett University Center or Shoreline. One year full time, two years part time, and our students graduate on time at an average yearly rate of 90 percent.

Three students across all of UW Bothell earned the campus top academic honor this year. Two of them are ours.

Tasha Le and Sophia Palmer are both in the Master of Science in Community Health & Social Justice, and both took their work well past the classroom.

Sophia partnered with the Snohomish County Health Department on urban tree canopy planning and public health, and built a health education toolkit for the community.

Tasha's advocacy helped move two pieces of state legislation on disability rights, ESHB 1795 and SB 5863, and earned her an invitation from Governor Bob Ferguson's office to both bill signings in Olympia.

$7,000 in public health awards is open right now.

The Society for Public Health Education is funding four 2026 opportunities for students and health education practitioners. Two $2,000 stipends, up to $1,500 in conference and summit travel, free registration, membership, and a national stage to present your work.

Two awards require SOPHE membership, so check eligibility first. It takes minutes to start. Closes June 30th.

At the UW Bothell School of Nursing & Health Studies, we believe that effective healthcare leadership requires a deep understanding of community needs.

Our BNURS 424 Population-Based Health course challenges our RN-to-BSN
students to apply their clinical expertise in non-traditional settings. This spring, that
meant building a highly rewarding partnership with the Seattle Children's Alyssa
Burnett Adult Life Center.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their dedication to inclusive,
community-driven care. This collaboration not only provided our cohort with
invaluable, hands-on adaptation skills but also strengthened our university's bond
with an organization doing phenomenal work for neurodiverse adults.
