We are a research lab that has ongoing research studies that aim to help us understand more about infant development.

The Child Development Unit at UMASS Boston conducts research studies that aim to understand more about infant and child development. Studies focus on mother-infant interactions, infant memory, behavior and temperament. Whether you have already been an active participant in our studies, have just recently joined us, or would like to gain a better understanding of our work, we appreciate your interest.

Thanks to baby Elolo for coming into our lab and bringing along his two big sisters to help us out! From building forts to helping us collect some of their baby brother's drool for a saliva sample, we had so much fun getting to spend the day with them!
