In victory for cyclists, Commonwealth Avenue to install protected bike lanes - The Boston Globe A stretch of Commonwealth Avenue will get a bike lane that uses parked cars as a barrier between cyclists and car traffic, after months of advocacy from bikers who have pointed out the dangers of the busy thoroughfare.

Don't forget! The public cycletrack meeting is 6pm TOMORROW at Kenmore Classroom Building Rm 101. The City has completed a new design which they are unveiling for the public tomorrow. We expect to see a cycletrack in this design, but we do not yet know all the details. Come show your support for the cycletrack and ensure the future safety of BU's streets!
