Day 2 in Croatia and we’re island hopping!!
We started our morning exploring Split, Croatia, which had the perfect combination of historic charm and a lively, modern atmosphere! From there, we hopped on a boat with for a day of exploring the beautiful Dalmatian Coast!
Stop 1: Maslinica, Šolta Island
Our first stop was Maslinica, a picturesque old fishing village on the island of Šolta! It has charming stone buildings, a beautiful little harbor, and some of the clearest water I’ve ever seen! We had time to explore and swim, but fair warning… those rocks are NO JOKE! Bring water shoes!
Stop 2: Blue Lagoon, Krknjaši Bay
Next up was the Blue Lagoon near Drvenik Veli, where we jumped right into the most unbelievably blue, crystal clear water! 💙 I had no idea Croatia’s coastline was THIS beautiful! The water seriously looked like something you’d see in the Caribbean!
Stop 3: Trogir
Our final stop was Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and this might have been the most charming stop of them all! The narrow cobblestone streets, historic stone buildings, and medieval architecture made it feel like we had stepped back in time! Almost like walking through a fairy tale!
One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to chat with our two Croatian guides from Toto Travel and learn more about the country and its culture. They were awesome.
Croatia, we absolutely LOVED you! Between the history, beautiful islands, and incredible water, this is one destination I would visit again in a heartbeat!
