Progressive Defense Systems (PDS), is a system of self defense founded by Shawn Marando. It combine PDS is a martial art of survival.
The Founder, Shawn Marando, has combined his experience in the martial arts, military service and law enforcement to develop the tactics and methods used in PDS. It is not a system of self defense to be used for competition.

Before we started simply making our own videos during class, I actually hired someone to make some professional ones. After a day of filming, we were on the way out the door, when we decided to do one unrehearsed. I asked JJ and Howie to just do something and see what happens. Little did I know JJ was going to pull a knife on me! I pulled the kick back (because he's my buddy!) But it also showed and taught me what I would do in a real fight. Always place one attacker between you and the other attacker. Special thanks to JJ and Howie. I miss my 'boys'. No pun intended!

I have not posted here for a while, as we have since moved to our 'secret' group of Progressive Defense Systems. Since it is categorized as 'secret' viewers will not be able to locate it unless they are approved members. You would need to friend me and request to join first. Membership is free.
This video is just a compilation of 3 that are posted in our group. The group now has about 60 posted, if not more. Enjoy.
