We are so excited to be back together for the 2026-2027 school year! ☀️📚

We hope you had a wonderful break and wish you a smooth transition as we return to the classroom. This year we are marking an anniversary in GISB’s history. We are exited to look back on 25 years of memories and learning. Now, we gather together on two beautiful campuses while looking ahead to a year of celebration and growth!

🌲 From Alpine Hikes to Iconic Sights: A European Adventure! 🇩🇪
Our middle schoolers had an unforgettable trip this summer. Based at Kindercamp Sonnenhof, tucked right near the Bavarian Alps, the students fit a lifetime of memories into one action-packed week. From hiking, rafting, and treetop adventures to museums and shopping for Haribo, our students bonded over breathtaking views and Bavarian meals. A massive thank you to our trip leaders, the welcoming team at Kindercamp Sonnenhof, and our incredible students who brought so much curiosity, energy, and respect to every step of the journey, even when there were delays!

Today, we paused during a busy back-to-school week to honor important milestones: celebrating our dedicated faculty and staff who have reached 5, 10, and 15 years of service at GISB! Meanwhile, back-to-school preparations are in full swing! Our team is hard at work prepping classrooms across both the Upper and Lower Campuses. As we gear up for the new school year, we’re looking back at an incredible summer vacation program at our Lower Campus. Our campers didn’t just play—they explored, created, and built confidence in two languages every single day! 🗣️💬

A few weeks ago, we spent a beautiful summer morning together and at our GISB Summer Meet & Greet at Swiss Bakers. ☕🥐

Thank you to all the families and staff who joined us. It was wonderful to catch up, meet new families, and enjoy some time together. A special thank you to our fantastic Welcome Team for organizing such a warm and welcoming event!

Where in the world is GISB? This time... Honduras! 🇭🇳🤺

Toto (Grade 4) has been spending part of her summer at the Olympic Village in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where she is training with the Olympic Fencing Club of Honduras. She has been practicing six days a week for a month, enjoying the challenge, making new friends, and learning from the coaches and athletes there.

She is often spotted proudly wearing her GISB gear and has been having a wonderful time. Toto is excited to share stories from her summer adventures and is looking forward to seeing everyone at Back-to-School Picnic on August 22! 🎉💛
