OISA and EADP invite all international and exchange students for a field trip to Cambridge by the T to enjoy the play “Becoming A Man” for free! RSVP on EmConnect is required. The tickets are first come first served, so RSVP today if you’d like to attend! (Note: if you have already reserved your tickets through Campus Life, you do not need to RSVP on EmConnect and can just come and join us at Walker Lobby on the day to travel to Cambridge together.)
Emerson College Senior Distinguished Artist-in-Residence, Department of Performing Arts, P. Carl will be co-directing the world-premiere play based on his acclaimed memoir of gender affirmation, “Becoming A Man: The Story of a Transition.” Co-directed by Tony Award-winning Diane Paulus and P. Carl, “Becoming a Man” is a story about the courage—and the community—we need to be ourselves.
The performances will take place at the Loeb Drama Center in the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The play will be presented as part of A.R.T.’s 2023-2024 season, which centers on themes of belonging, the American Dream, and what it means to feel welcome in the United States.
