Astrid enjoyed a relaxing weekend in Newport, RI, with Jen and Tony, friends of the Mulvey family! She shared meals, met Jack and grandson Langston, stopped by Nitro Coffee Bar and Old Navy, and enjoyed some quiet time reading. A weekend full of good company and much-needed downtime to recharge before heading back to school! 💙📚

Jayln is thriving in her second year at ! She’s balancing a challenging engineering course load with work through the Student Worker Program and gaining hands-on experience in the machine shop.

Even with a busy schedule, she’s making time for friends and enjoying all that college has to offer. We’re proud to see Jayln continuing to grow and make the most of her college journey! 💙

Student Spotlight: Ivy! 🌟

Ivy is a 7th grader in the W2B family who is making her mark both in and out of the classroom! 📚🏐🏈

She’s involved in Student Council, Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Flag Football, Yearbook Committee, and Altar Serving, and is also a California Junior Scholarship Federation member.

On the court, Ivy is one of only two 7th graders to make the Varsity Volleyball team and recently competed in her first volleyball tournament of the year! 🏐

But Ivy isn’t just stepping up for herself. She led the charge as the first girl to join her school’s flag football team, and shortly after, two more girls found the courage to join her. 🏈✨

At W2B, we’re proud to support students like Ivy as they lead, challenge themselves, and inspire those around them. 💙

W2B Founder Julie spent this past week in Watts! ❤️

From lunch with Marching Beauties founder Trayonna Rankins to dinner with W2B supporters and students at Celeste’s, Julie’s week in Watts was filled with meaningful conversations, community, and opportunities to support local youth.

Julie also visited the LAPD Southeast Cadet Program, where W2B presented a donation to support their Mounted Horse Program. 🐴💙

A meaningful visit back in Watts, investing in the students, programs, and people who make the community so special.
