With the Northeastern Summer Immersion program wrapped up, Wendy is enjoying a well-deserved week off! She spent the day with her host mom, Liz, and her daughters, Nora and Elle, meeting their dog Benny 🐶, shopping 🛍️, and getting permanent bracelets ✨

A new chapter begins! 🎓✨

W2B Scholar Astrid is officially moved into her freshman-year dorm! 🏫💙 From packing up to settling into her new home away from home, we’re so proud to see Astrid take this exciting next step in her college journey.

🏃‍♀️ Watts 2 Boston at the Falmouth Road Race 🏃‍♂️

What an incredible showing from our Watts 2 Boston runners at the Falmouth Road Race!

Our runners took on the 7-mile course, representing Watts with determination and heart. We’re proud to celebrate John, Alex, Jillian, Rosie, Molly, and Kate for an incredible race!

A special shoutout to John and Alex, who finished in an impressive 39 minutes and 43 minutes, respectively! 👏

Together, the team also raised over $10,000 to support Watts 2 Boston and create more opportunities for youth.

Proud to see our Watts 2 Boston community going the distance! 💙

Happy Birthday, Wendy! 🎉🎂

Wendy is beginning her freshman year at Northeastern University as a Torch Scholar and has been in Boston since July.

To celebrate her birthday, Julie planned a special day that included a shopping trip to Marshalls, Wendy’s first lobster roll at Sullivan’s at Castle Island🦞, an evening walk, and a delicious fruit tart to end the day. 🍓

We’re so happy to see Wendy settling into Boston, trying new things, and making memories along the way. Wishing her a wonderful birthday and an amazing freshman year! 💙

🎾 Community, connection, and a whole lot of fun!

W2B hosted a tennis Round Robin to support Jillian’s fundraising goal for the Falmouth Road Race, and what a night it was! Thanks to everyone who came out, played, and showed their support. Jillian not only reached her $1,500 goal but exceeded it! 💙

We’re so grateful for a community that continues to show up for W2B and cheer each other on. Thank you for making this such a fun and meaningful evening! 🎾
