🌍 Student Spotlight: Judith Inumerable

From the classroom to the global stage, first-year NU DMSc student Judith Inumerable recently presented at the European Hematology Association’s annual medical congress in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a Senior Director and Clinical Scientist in the biotech industry, Judith led presentations for her company’s Phase 3 REVEAL ND NPM1m Investigator Meeting, sharing the study design, objectives, endpoints, and key clinical data with clinical study research teams from around the world. She also presented updated safety, pharmacokinetic, and efficacy findings from the preceding Phase 1 study that helped support the advancement of this promising therapy, combining our menin inhibitor with intensive chemotherapy, into the Phase 3 clinical evaluation.

Judith appreciates the importance of collaboration, recognizing the global leadership team and Medical Science Liaisons whose partnership and dedication demonstrate that advancing new medicines for patients is truly a team effort. Building a strong, collaborative culture is essential to accelerating innovative therapies for those who are waiting.

Judith’s experience is a powerful example of the impact DMSc students are making in advancing clinical research and improving patient care worldwide. Congratulations, Judith, on this outstanding achievement!

Her leadership knows no bounds!

Physician Associates from across Massachusetts traveled this week to New Orleans this weekend to represent the interests of Mass PAs at the American Academy of Physician Associates House of Delegates meeting.

The House of Delegates is where PAs from across the country come together to debate policy, shape the future of the profession, and advocate for patients and the PA workforce nationwide. From modernization efforts and workforce mobility to education, reimbursement, and access to care, the decisions made here help guide the future of our profession and direct our advocacy efforts on the state level.

Massachusetts continues to be a national leader in PA advocacy, and we are excited to bring our members' voices to the national stage. Thank you to Cathy Hamel, Carey Barry, Jennifer Pertucci, Nicole Zarba, and Duncan Daviau, who continue to support MAPA, engage in advocacy, and help move our profession forward.
