The fourth annual Tedy’s Team Center of Excellence in Stroke Recovery Waterfront Wellness Walk brought together approximately 75 stroke survivors, care partners, students, clinicians, and community members for a morning of movement and connection on August 12, 2026.
The OT community was proud to be part of this collaborative event, including second-year OTD student Lexie Hackman, graduate assistant for the Tedy’s Team Center, and OT faculty member Dr. Kim Erler, the Center’s director. The event reflects the power of interprofessional and community partnerships in supporting participation and life after stroke.

Level 1 students led the leisure wellness group on the topic of tackling the great outdoors! Our OT CLiPR elective students worked with clients on standing tolerance/balance, visual perceptual skills, hand dexterity, adaptive gaming and a simulated dog walking activity!

Couldn’t help but share more snapshots from our pediatric summer camp last week! Second year OT students learned about and applied pediatric assessment and intervention approaches through their intensive pediatric CLiPR elective. We love supporting our community through this inclusive camp!
