Last semester, level 1 students participated in the re-evaluation of a client in OT CLiPR, which included bilaterial upper extremity assessments of strength and coordination, as well as visual perceptual assessments. Great work!

Early last month, Mary Beth Kadlec and her now-graduated capstone students, Emma Lynch and Emerson Evans, presented on cognition in pediatrics for Pooja Jethani’s Cognition course. Pictured alongside them are Dr. Jethani and her also-graduated capstone students, Ava Tahmasbi and Kari Leong!

Earlier this year, first year Entry level OTD students presented their final program grant proposals to the class in the course Occupations, Community and Culture. Student teams creatively worked on a needs based program proposal to serve populations.

Some wonderful moments from the IHP’s first Lavender Celebration 💜 A beautiful student-led event bringing together faculty, staff, supporters, and students in celebration of LGBTQ+ graduates. Lavender cords were available for any graduate who wanted to wear them. OT graduate Kaelyn Mills and Professor Kelly Spellman were both in attendance!

Last month in Professor John Wong’s class! Dr. Wong invited a guest speaker to give a presentation in front of his students during the Spring Semester’s last day of class. Dr. Mingchao Zhou talked about his research study on a new assessment tool to measure activities of daily living and self-care ability.
