Where Fisher College stands today used to be a tidal bay on the shore of the Shawmut Peninsula. The dam that cut off tidal flats from the Charles River, known then as the Quinobequin, is under present-day Beacon Street.

This Indigenous Peoples' Day, Fisher College recognizes the Massachusett peoples that continue to live on their traditional lands and waterways on the banks of the Quinobequin.

It's Constitution Day! Fisher College celebrates the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens.

Today, students could grab free pocket Constitutions in the Mall and scan the QR code on flyers around campus to learn more about the U.S. Constitution.
