So, I was wondering, have anyone who used to attend Boston young creatives moved to another city?

Do you miss BYC? What would you like to see when it comes back?

Networking Happy Hour @ Society of Grownups, April 29th, 6pm 04/15/2015

Boston Young Creatives is back!!!!! And entirely thanks to longtime BYC member Dan Luria & Society of Grownups

Our once monthly event is back, and hopefully for a while... this month's location will be in Brookline!

Networking Happy Hour @ Society of Grownups, April 29th, 6pm A free flowing, social event, for ALL kinds of creatives. It is important to register on the SoG website as well, as they've been gracious enough to offer their space, beer, wine, and pizza to us.

Would you like to add the Boston Young Creatives meetup mailing list to your event? Roughly 1100 people.

So I also decided I'm trying to find any individuals who are interested in reaching out to a single venue and organizing a 1-off event. If you enjoy it you're welcome to repeat the process. Just keep me in the loop for the planning and be okay with helping with BYC's goals of introducing creatives.

[BYC] Meetup Tonight @ Good Life Bar 06/11/2014

Tonight @ Good Life Boston! 6:30pm til 8pm. The usual. Low key drinks and social stuff.

This weeks email: Nothing special, just talk about tonight's event. Ask for your input in the future.

[BYC] Meetup Tonight @ Good Life Bar We're still going! Last month's event went pretty well once we got used to the new venue. We ended up downstairs, basically having a bartender to ourselves. Then the open mic night started at 8ish, and we had to disperse. If you can't remember what Boston Young Creatives is, click that link for more…

[BYC] - It's been a while. TWO events planned. Lots of excitement. 05/20/2014

Our occasional email announcement. In this one I talk about:

• where the hell I've been
• the new venue at Good Life Boston
• the next two events for May (tomorrow) and June

Check it out and bring your friends.

[BYC] - It's been a while. TWO events planned. Lots of excitement. This winter brought me many new things: I moved to Somerville, started a new job, got a car, and started a new stage of my life. With that new stage of life, I plan on bringing lots of energy back to Boston Young Creatives and our meetups.Upcoming event info is below this section. To prove it, I'm e…

SERIOUSLY looking for people to help with Boston Young Creatives. I am now treating it like a startup. No, I cannot pay you, yet. Conveniently, it only requires about 2-10hrs a month for now, depending on which position you're interested in. This is not a favor, this is a real ongoing thing. I will ask for examples of previous work.

I am looking for someone to manage each of these positions:
Marketing & Content Strategy
Event & Contact Planning
Financials & Fundraising
Legal Guidance

If you're interested in any of the above opportunities, please write to me, and I will give you more information about what I'm looking for.

I just put it all into an official form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1VByqCDxdiaKCgRYjKvI41CYScOtjxpd2nujFCIuZVKU/viewform
You can check it out there.

First 3D-printed book cover is a beautiful sign of an experimenting industry 01/06/2014

Check out this awesome combination of old school print design & book binding with the new technology of 3d-printing. Creates a pretty awesome end product!

(I will probably be posting a few things as CES 2014 continues this week.)

First 3D-printed book cover is a beautiful sign of an experimenting industry It seems fitting that a book about futuristic America comes in a futuristic skin. Riverhead Books partnered with MakerBot to make the first 3D-printed book slipcover for Chang-rae Lee’s On Such...
