Lego Challenges: Ready, Set, Le-go! 🧱

Each week your child will be tasked with creating a sensational Lego scene. Every challenge is a mystery that their teacher will reveal…
➡️A helicopter rescue scene?
➡️A space shuttle launch site?
➡️Lego Godzilla attacking a city?

Then it’s off to the races as your child and their partner create complex constructions with limited time and present it to the class. Presentation skills will be key as they try to persuade their fellow classmates that their Lego creation is #1️⃣🏆.

As an author in RBC’s Writing Wizard’s class, it will all be up to you, as you give life to a fantasy world of your own design.

That is the question we ponder in our Lego Future House class.
Our Lego Future House students:

🤖Learn about products of the future, predict how life will look different, and learn about how innovators around the world are changing it already.

🤖Create their very own futuristic Lego house, designing space-age furniture for every room in the house and a futuristic vehicle for the garage. Even the family pet will get a reboot!

🤖Consider how virtual reality, climate change, and interactive robots could change life on Earth and beyond.

Public speaking can be one of life’s scariest tasks, but it doesn’t have to be! In Your Voice: Public Speaking for Kids, you will:

🗣️ Play improvisation games
🗣️ Serve as an anchor in a classroom newscast
🗣️ Write and act in skits
🗣️ Practice making eye contact in a staring contest
🗣️ … and more!

Get Your Lego Game On!

Are you a Lego master? If so, it’s time to show off your skills in our Lego Adventures classes!

Each week we present a new building challenge: From skyscrapers to zoos, bridges to airports, malls to main streets, and everything in between!

➡️First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will review the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks or how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed.

➡️Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it.
