Grant-based Graduate Research Opportunity
Prof. Vincent G. Xie (Department of Marketing) is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable graduate research assistant during the 2018-19 academic year. In addition to receiving grant-based stipend, the graduate research assistant will have an opportunity to develop skills in marketing research and earn a letter of recommendation.
Description:
The graduate research assistant will mainly assist in questionnaire design, data collection (e.g., lab, online, and/or field experiments), and copy editing. Prior experience is not required, but an interest in psychological and behavioral research is preferred. Occasional teaching assistance will also be needed (e.g., grading, administrating exams).
The graduate research assistant is expected to work 4.5 hours/week on average throughout the 2018-19 academic year. The bi-weekly stipend is $241.50 and the total stipend is $4,347.00. Please note this grant-based assistantship does not cover health insurance, tuition, or other fees.
Qualification:
* Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
* Highly responsible and dependable
* Attention to details
* Intellectual curiosity
* Familiar with basic graphic and video editing

Don't forget to vote this week for Graduate Student Assembly elections to let your voice be heard on campus! Elections close this Thursday, April 5 at midnight!
Attention Graduate RPAs:
Sunday, April 15th, 2018 is the final day to submit Event Funding Requests with the GSA for the Spring 2018 semester. Even if your event will not take place until after April 15th, we ask that you submit all proposals before then.
Due to unforeseen changes to the GSA budget, we are accepting applications for Event Funding Requests up to $500 on a first come, first serve basis. Requests for Shaw's cards are highly encouraged and will have a higher chance of being funded than cash requests.
