"Raise Your Hand For Haiti" Raise Your Hand for Haiti is a community leadership development program of the Witherspoon Institute

The Boston based Witherspoon Institute (WIN) garnered national cooperation to launch the five-year American community leadership project (SLIP) with support from U.S. Senator John Kerry and its partnership with international realtor Simon Properties during Haitian Heritage Month, May 2010. The Strategic Leadership Investment Plan (SLIP) is part of a leadership, etiquette and ballroom dance curric

ulum for children 7-18 years old taught at the Witherspoon Institute. It focuses on coupling youth with adult participation in global and community problem solving. Currently, the quilting bee is traveling across the country on a 'Magic Quilt Tour’ gathering messages of hope. The participatory ‘Folk Art’ exhibition made by the citizens of America is a reminder to Haiti that America cares. Our motto, in keeping with our classroom efforts, asks universal supporters to: “Raise Your Hand for Haiti!"
