We couldn’t let National Student Employment Week pass without giving a special shoutout to D&I’s very own, Trinity Lee!

Trinity serves as D&I’s Program Assistant and is truly an essential piece of the puzzle. She not only supports a wide range of D&I initiatives but also takes the lead in creating impactful programming of her own.

The D&I team deeply appreciates all that you do, Trinity. Thank you for your dedication, creativity, and the care you bring to this work! We’re lucky to have you! ✨💐

Speaker Series Alert 🚨

Disabled and neurodivergent identities have started to come to the forefront of conversations in the workplace. When we enter the workplace that is build for able-bodied, neurotypical people, many challenges arise.

Tara Allen, Neurodiversity Program Manager of MIND (Mental, Invisible, and Neurodivergence-based Disabilities), will explore the unique struggles of disabled people in the workplace and allyship in creating accessible spaces. Participants will learn about the challenges faced by the community in the workplace, how to ensure an accessible workplace for colleagues and peers, followed by a paneled discussion from disabled peers who will share their lived experiences of inaccessibility in the workplace.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

Join the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for Trans Visibility Week, a celebration of trans and gender-diverse identities, resilience, and community. This week of programming offers opportunities to learn, reflect, and engage with resources that center inclusion and belonging.

On March 31st, we recognize Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) by uplifting trans voices and honoring the impact of trans and gender-diverse communities. We show up in our daily lives through advocacy, care, and community.
