CWE is launching two new initiatives designed specifically to support farmer entrepreneurs, and we're looking for experienced farmers and agricultural business experts to help build them.
We're seeking proposals for:
🌱 A customized Business Planning Curriculum that will help participants develop lender-ready business plans
🌱 Concept2Pitch, a program designed to help entrepreneurs craft compelling business pitches covering opportunity recognition, marketing, finances, legal structure, and more
The best programs are built with farmers, not just for farmers.

We talk about entrepreneurship like it’s a dream, but for many it starts somewhere very different.
One of CWE's Central MA Rising Stars was quoted last week:
“We open up businesses out of need. It’s not like we wake up one day and say, I’m going to quit my job to make wigs, or sew clothes, or make cookies,’” said Sheila C**n, a Puerto Rican business owner and mother of seven who opened Hot Oven Cookies in Holyoke in 2016.
