Today on Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we’re recognizing the importance of creating learning experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and designed for all learners.

Accessibility is more than a feature—it’s a commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to engage, communicate, and succeed in ways that support their individual needs. From alt text and screen reader compatibility to multilingual supports and inclusive design, small choices can make a meaningful difference in how learners experience the world around them.

At Vista Higher Learning, we believe accessibility helps open doors to connection, communication, and confidence for every learner.

"Write with purpose. Be authentic."

The stories students choose to tell matter—and so do the voices behind them. The Raíces National Essay Contest invites students to explore the living presence of Hispanic heritage in their own communities through writing that is personal, meaningful, and deeply connected to culture, identity, and place.

With the contest deadline approaching, now is the time to encourage students to reflect, research, and share the stories that deserve to be seen and heard.

This month, we celebrate the rich histories, cultures, voices, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities—past and present.

At Vista Higher Learning, we believe language learning opens doors to deeper cultural understanding, connection, and empathy. AAPI Heritage Month is an opportunity to honor the stories, traditions, and perspectives that continue to shape our classrooms and communities every day.

To the educators helping students explore global perspectives and celebrate diverse identities through language and literacy—thank you.

Many French teachers see students stall at beginner levels while juggling disconnected resources and tools. Chemins and D’accord! on vhlcentral bring lessons, media, practice, and assessment into one six‑step instructional design and communicative approach, so students can keep building French proficiency and real-world communication.

Hear how Mr. Abdallah at Dover High School uses Chemins and Vista’s digital tools to support students and make teaching easier.
