To our friends and allies: today, your voice matters.

My feeds are beginning to fill with messages of solidarity from non-Jewish friends, and it means more than you know. If anything good can come from today, let it be this: our allies speaking up with us, loudly and visibly.

Silence has been heavy. Solidarity has been missing. But when allies stand with the Jewish community, it sends a message the world cannot ignore.

Today, let’s make that our mission.

🔹 Speak up.
🔹 Share a post.
🔹 Use your voice where ours alone has not been enough.

We are asking our friends to stand with us—not instead of us, but with us.
Here is a nudge. Here is the language. Here are the graphics.
Here is the opportunity to say: We see you. We stand with you.

This Hanukkah, let’s create a modern miracle—
one of light over darkness, love over hate, and solidarity over silence.

Spread the light.
Spread the love.
Spread solidarity with the Jewish community.

🕎✨

Chanukah reminds us that even when others try to extinguish our light, it endures. As Massachusetts educators, we proudly celebrate our Jewish identity and stand against antisemitism and antizionism in our union, schools and communities. The Maccabees fought for the right to live openly as Jews. We honor that legacy today—by shining brighter.

Proud to see our state and national leaders standing together in support of the Special Commission on Combating Antisemitism’s final report. From Beacon Hill to Capitol Hill, their message is clear: antisemitism has no place in Massachusetts. Thank you to these leaders for choosing courage, clarity, and commitment over politics.
Massachusetts is stronger—and safer—because of it. 💙

Massachusetts is home to the nation’s first and only legislatively created commission dedicated to combating antisemitism. After over a year of work, the Commission’s final report was unanimously approved today. This represents a powerful step forward in ensuring safety, dignity, and protection for Jewish communities across our state and beyond.
