B4Records is a collaboration between Teen Empowerment and The Record Company. The purpose of B4Records is to inspire people to use and act upon their talents by delivering powerful messages that positively changes peoples' mindsets. By deepening our understanding of what positive music means, B4Records welcomes all with a vision to bridge the gap between people in the community and those outside t
he community; specifically changing the stereotypes and perceptions of youth, music, and culture. B4Records produces high quality music and recordings which allows community talent to build new skills and understand roles in the music industry. Participation with B4Records goes beyond studio involvement. Initiatives include: talents shows, open mics, attendance at a partner's organization's event, community dialogues, and an act in Teen Empowerment's Peace Conference. The overall vision for B4Records is to support positive music that aims to identify the issues in the community and mobilize young people to be agents of change within their community.
