Under the leadership of Fellows alum Abe Ceesay ‘07, Third Rock Ventures and Johnson & Johnson are teaming up to launch Rapport Therapeutics Inc., a startup that aims to tackle new challenges in neuroscience.

The Partnership is headed to SXSW!

The Partnership is proud to sponsor the first ever South Asian House at SXSW, a weekend-long event on March 11th-12th where South Asian thought leaders and attendees of the SXSW conference will come together to network and exchange ideas.

We invite you to join us and the South Asian House on Sunday March 12th from 1pm – 2pm at fourth & co (208 W 4th Street Unit D Austin, TX 78701) for Catalyst Media's Leadership Program Panel discussion featuring our very own Chief Transformation Officer Anjali Worah!

Anjali and our Director of Digital Transformation, Rashi Shyam, will be on site at SXSW from March 9th-13th to share about the work of The Partnership and to learn more about how we can be a support along the way. A ticket to SXSW is not required to participate with the South Asian House and ALL ARE WELCOME! We hope to see some of our Partnership community members there!

As we commemorate this Presidents Day, our thoughts are with the 39th President of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter and his family as he has entered hospice care at home.

President Carter’s life’s work has been centered on promoting peaceful resolutions to conflict and advancing democracy, human rights and social justice.

One of the most exciting days of the year for us here at The Partnership, Inc. is Orientation Day! We get to finally welcome in all of our Associates, Fellows, BioDiversity Fellows and North Carolina Leadership Accelerator program participants and the Minnesota Black Fellows Cohort for the year!

Today we had opening remarks from Fellows Alum Pamela Everhart ’91, along with Partnership Board Chair Paul Alexander. Participants heard from Fellows alums Clemia Brittenum ’04, Shahara Jaghoo ’22 and Raisha Price ’22, Associates alum Andrea Forsht '13, Partnership COO Carmen Arce and Partnership President & CEO Pratt Wiley on Getting the Most from Your Partnership Year.

Associates and Fellows engaged in our Leadership Assessment Session & Development Planning Forum with Alesia Latson of LeadvantEDGE, LLC, while BioDiversity Fellows and North Carolina Leadership Accelerator program participants engaged in a session on Emotional Intelligence led by. John Hughes of E.I. Assessments, LLC

Participants’ managers were invited to participate in our Inclusive Manager: Building Engagement, Belonging and Productivity session led by Judy Shen Filerman of Dreambridge Partners LLC

It was a full and enriching day and we can’t wait to see what this year holds for you 2023 class! Let’s cheer on the new upcoming class of 2023!

Las Madrinas are a group of successful Latina professionals, selected for their exceptional professional achievements, strong leadership skills, and unwavering commitment to advancing Latina women in the workforce. Latina Professionals is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting rising Latina leaders.

Sometimes meetings happen at the gym! Here’s a behind the scenes look at an upcoming collaboration with United Way of Massachusetts Bay, Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) and the Barr Foundation.

Our Chief Transformation Officer, Anjali Worah met with Director of Board Connection at United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley, Carolyn Grimes to discuss ways to increase access and equity not only for professionals of color to sit on boards, but also to prepare boards to be inclusive spaces for professionals of color.

Part of the meeting included a workout at InnerCity Weightlifting, a gym which offers individuals affected by incarceration training and employment in the field of fitness and personal training with a mission to reduce incarceration rates and increase opportunity.
