Undergrad Seniors/recent grads: JOB OPPORTUNITY!
Abt is hiring a cohort of undergraduates to join with flexibility to start from late spring to end of summer. This posting is specifically exciting since the goal is to allow research assistants to explore the types of work they want to focus on whether it be working in education policy, health care delivery, or climate change science, etc. If you wanted to pass this along to your undergrads, I would be happy to also share my email in case anyone was interested to learn more about our work at Abt.

Great opportunity -- deadline is soon!
I am excited to share that Giffords is relaunching our Courage Fellowship, a youth leadership development program to build up the next generation of gun safety advocates. The application is now live, and the application deadline has been extended to February 7.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could share the information with your networks.
Below is a description of the program.
The 2022 Courage Fellowship consists of fully-funded multi-day trainings in Washington, DC, where fellows will meet with experts and legislators while learning from each other. We will be taking precautions to keep all participants safe and healthy.
Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in politics, community organizing, activism, or volunteerism; be willing to learn new skills, have a strong desire to become (or already are) active in the gun violence prevention movement, and be between the ages of 17 and 21. View our application for more details on how to become a Courage Fellow.
Applications are due on February 7, 2022.

A GREAT SUMMER OPPORTUNITY -- PAID. Summer 2022 MGH in Boston:
Thanks again for your help in the past with sharing our job and internship postings with BU’s undergraduate public health students. I am reaching out now to let you know about a full-time, paid, in-person summer 2022 internship position with my research group (Emergency Medicine Network at Massachusetts General Hospital). This is a great position for someone with an interest in health services research.
Can you please assist me by posting the internship opportunity on a public forum accessible to your students or by disseminating the posting directly to students who might be interested? I have included the link to the posting below. The deadline for receipt of applications is February 28, 2022, and the program has a start date of June 6, 2022.
