🌟 Internship Spotlight: Cartesian

This summer, Cathedral scholars Tamia Darling and Méarah Ennis gained invaluable real-world experience through internships with Cartesian, a global consulting firm specializing in strategy, analytics, and technology. At Cartesian, they were exposed to projects that help organizations solve complex business challenges through research, data analysis, and strategic thinking, while developing skills in analysis, presentation, and problem-solving.

Experiences like these give our scholars the opportunity to explore professional careers, build meaningful connections, and grow in confidence as future leaders.

A special thank you to the team at Cartesian for investing in our students and creating opportunities that prepare them for success beyond Cathedral! Congratulations to Tamia and Méarah on a successful summer!

🌴 Program Spotlight: University of Miami Experience

This summer, our scholars took the next step in their college journey at the University of Miami!

Four of our rising juniors earned six transferable college credits while exploring courses in areas such as Law & Society, Business & Finance, Microbiology, and Public Health.

Our rising sophomores also had the opportunity to experience college life through engaging non-credit enrichment courses.

Together, these experiences gave our students an authentic look at life on a college campus - helping them explore academic interests, build confidence, strengthen college readiness, and envision themselves thriving at the next level.

We are proud to see our scholars taking advantage of opportunities that prepare them for a bright future! 🐾🎓

🏀 A special day for Cathedral and the South End.

This weekend, we were proud to celebrate Cathedral alum Michelle "Ice" Edwards '84 at the dedication of the basketball court at Titus Sparrow Park in her honor.

Before becoming an All-American, Hall of Famer, and one of the original 16 franchise players selected for the WNBA's inaugural season, Michelle made history as a Cathedral scholar—leading our girls basketball program to back-to-back Eastern Massachusetts Championships and becoming the first girl in Massachusetts history to score 2,000 career points.

Her legacy continues to inspire every Lady Panther who wears the Cathedral uniform today.

Congratulations, Michelle, and thank you for representing our school, our neighborhood, and our city with such excellence.

A special thank you to Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 and her team, the Friends of Titus Sparrow Park Board, and the Mary J. Harris Foundation for organizing such a meaningful celebration and for inviting Cathedral to be part of this memorable day.
