Radical Lawyers: BU Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and BU Law Energy and Environmental Law Society will be hosting Aaron Regunberg of Law Students for Climate Accountability and Ian Coghill of the Conservation Law Foundation to discuss how law firms contribute to climate change by representing fossil fuel companies, and what we as law students and future lawyers can do to push back against these practices.

Legal Observers play a key role in monitoring police conduct at protests and rallies, and protect protestors' right to express their political views as fully as possible without unconstitutional disruption or interference by the police.

Join us over Zoom on Wednesday, November 17 at 4pm for our Fall 2021 Legal Observer Training to become eligible to volunteer as a Legal Observer in MA.

We ask that all interested parties complete the form linked below by Thursday, November 11 to receive an application for participation in this training.

The NLG annual Convention is happening virtually over Zoom all this week, and runs through Sunday, October 17. Registration is available on a sliding scale -- $25 for law student members of the NLG and $50 for non-members. Fee waivers and further reductions are available to members upon request, and recordings of all of the panels will be available to registrants regardless of your availability to attend at the time they are taking place.
