The BU Office for the Arts is now accepting applications for our 2026/2027 Student Advisory Council. This is a volunteer role with a commitment of 1-5 hours a week. Weβre looking for passionate and dedicated students to help shape the arts on campus, build community, and create memorable experiences for fellow Terriers.

We invite local alumni, faculty, staff, and students to enter artwork into this juried exhibition. 2D works, including but not limited to painting, textiles, photography, drawing, printmaking, and graphic design, are welcome. The deadline to submit is Sunday, May 3, 2026. To submit, visit the link in our bio!
If selected, you must be able to drop off and retrieve your piece at the Boston University Office for the Arts, 775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA. We will not return shipped pieces. Please only submit pieces that are for sale.

Earlier this month, we hosted our last Music Monday Salon Series of the spring semester at the BU Castle! The Heron Quartet performed for this event, featuring four BU students, Lana Crosson (violin), Antony Karacic (violin), Ian Aistrup (viola), and Nathaniel Aistrup (cello).

Last week, we had the tremendous pleasure of welcoming visiting artist Kunal Gunjal to BU for our Spring Artist Residency, Basant Ke Rang | Colors of Spring: Raga Music of North India. The 3-day residency consisted of a lunch n learn, class visits and workshops, and culminated in a classical Indian music concert in the CFA Concert Hall.
Huge thank you to all who attended a residency event. We are grateful to our collaborating School of Music faculty member, Dr. Igor Iwanek, and co-sponsors, BU College of Fine Arts School of Music, and the BU Center for the Study of Asia.
