Congrats to Fenway Community Center for a wonderful evening Easternstandardboston celebrating TEN YEARS of community in the Fenway. Thank you for honoring our Fenway Alliance Board Chair John Tobin for all his many years of dedicated service to the Fenway, Northeastern University, and Boston. FA Co-Exec Director Kelly Brilliant served on the host committee and FA Board member Board member Ted Landsmark shared remarks. John has gone beyond neighborhood boundaries to drive positive change, foster inclusivity, and champion equity across Boston with projects and initiatives such as Northeastern Crossing, Fenway Cares, Co-Ops in Service to Our Neighbors, and more. He has advanced the ideals of community empowerment and inclusivity that lie at the heart of the Center’s work. Across all sectors, John has used his comedic background to build trust and connection through a people first, down to earth approach.

FENWAY CARES has been distributing and delivering free bags of fresh fruits and vegetables twice a month in the since June 2020. We could not do this work without the support of our volunteers week in and week out as well as the amazing team and our elected leaders including and and our newest Fenway City Councilor Thank you!




FENWAY CARES is a group of neighborhood organizations that came together in March 2020 to help Fenway neighborhood residents in need including Audubon Neighborhood Association and Fenway residents!
