Declan ’31, has spent this summer volunteering daily at Community Boating Inc. (CBI) in Boston as an Instructor in Training (IIT). Declan teaches students to sail, helps keep the dock clean, and fixes broken boats when needed. This is Declan’s fourth summer volunteering as an IIT with CBI, and this year, he ranks in the top 10 at CBI for volunteer hours served! Nice job, Declan!

Charlie '30, Mason '30, Ollie '30, and Gavin '30 participated in a diaper drive to benefit Interfaith Social Services food pantry in Quincy. The four incoming freshmen unloaded cars full of diapers and received a tour of the organization, learning more about how the pantry operates and the hundreds of families it serves every week. Thanks Charlie, Mason, Ollie, and Gavin for spending your day serving those in need!

Aidan '31 spent part of his summer at Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory — his fourth time volunteering there. On his most recent drive, he donated more than 700 items of clothing to kids across Greater Boston facing clothing insecurity. Forming men who give their time to help others is central to who we are, and Aidan's drives are that formation at work. Thank you for your service to our community, Aidan!

Teddy '31 spent more than 80 hours this summer volunteering with the Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association (KBIA) in Kennebunk, Maine. Most days, Teddy was out on the water teaching younger kids about the Maine coast and the ocean, from surfing and kayaking to fishing.

"I really like volunteering at KBIA because I get to teach kids new things and help them have fun outside," Teddy said. "The best part is seeing them light up when something finally clicks. It makes me happy to help them enjoy the outdoors as much as I do." Thanks for sharing your passions with others, Teddy!

It was a wonderful evening at the annual Cape Cod Alumni & Parent Reception at Ocean Edge Resort, where alumni, parents, and friends gathered to reconnect, celebrate the enduring strength of the BC High community, and hear from Principal Dr. Anthony Docanto ’15.

We are grateful to Mike Corcoran ’82 and Linda Corcoran P ’17, ’19 for their generous hospitality and for helping make this cherished annual tradition possible.

Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating the bonds that continue to bring the BC High community together. 🦅
